1. Gingerbread houses: Our staff have worked together to decorate some beautiful gingerbread houses! Starting Monday, we will be selling raffle tickets for 25 cents each, or 5 for a dollar. The money raised will go towards charities in our communities, and the lucky winner will be drawn on Thursday Dec 19 to take their gingerbread house home! You can find the pictures of our gingerbread houses located on our Facebook page.  

2. Kindergarten Registration: Do you have kindergarten aged children, or know someone who does? Kindergarten registration for Holy Family School begins on January 6th. Click here for more information.

3. Parent Visitors: We are blessed to have such an active family community participating in school activities. Please remember: Parents visiting the school to drop something off or to speak with their child(ren) will be expected to remain in the office area. Your child will be called down to see you or we will have any items delivered to them. Unexpected classroom visits can act as a distraction to the learning enviroment and be unsettling for some children. 

4. Transportation Fees on Rycor: We would like to inform you that transportation fees are now available for payment through Rycor. Please take a moment to log in and complete the payment at your earliest convenience. If you need assistance with accessing Rycor, feel free to reach out to the school office.

5. SchoolEngage Forms: We kindly ask all parents/guardians to update and complete the required forms on SchoolEngage as soon as possible. These forms are essential for ensuring we have the most up-to-date information for your child. Even if nothing has changed, please go in and complete the form. If you have any questions about the forms, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

6. Opt-in for Text Messages from Holy Family: In an effort to improve communication, Red Deer Catholic Regional Division has sent out a text message inviting parents to opt in to receive important messages from the school. If you haven’t already, please reply with "Y" to 978338. This text line will be used for faster communication, so we encourage you to opt in as soon as possible. If you do not opt-in you will not receive text messages. 

7. Purdy’s Chocolate:  We still have a few chocolate orders awaiting pickup! Please come into the office and pick up your sweet treats!
